From travel insurance to tax for the car, passports to postage, licences to life insurance, the Post Office is here to answer so many of life’s questions. Growing their business and modernising their network of around 11,800 branches, making it more accessible at the times and places that customers need, is a key priority for Post Office. The Post Office is now moving into an exciting transformation journey in the separation from Royal Mail, resulting in the need to develop and grow their existing Sourcing team.

The current focus of The Post Office is to transform Sourcing as a focused enabler of change, driver of value whilst understanding the needs of the business and the abilities of the supply base. The vision is to build a Post Office Sourcing team which everyone can be proud of. The mission is to lead effective Sourcing and PPL compliant tendering processes delivering and enabling best value solutions for the business. The Sourcing team will make the difference by constructively challenging internal needs. The team will drive and secure the integration of key suppliers’ resources and innovations through cross functional working to leverage a competitive advantage for POL.
